Making a purchase from Cheriton Online

We accept all major credit and debit cards without surcharges. Alternatively payment can be made by cheque, but we will have to wait for clearance before sending goods, this can delay your order by up to 3-4 days. We are able to offer 30 day account facilities subject to status, please contact the sales team for application details on 0845 225 2880 or e-mail sales@cheritononline.co.uk.

The credit card details you give to us are automatically encoded onto a secure 128bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) server (you will see the yellow padlock at the bottom of your browser window when you reach that page), this highly secure mode of taking payments means that no one can intercept your order as it passes through the Internet. We then use a Secure Payment system to take your payment through to our own bank account. Note that your card will only be authorised when you place your order, the actual payment will only be made once your order has been dispatched.

Delivery in the UK

Our delivery is normally next day or within 3 working days from processing your order to a delivery address within the UK if the product is in stock.

We may occasionally have to back order your product if it is not in stock, we will contact you either by phone or e-mail to give you a lead time/expected delivery date if this is the case.

Delivery charges

All UK deliveries will be charged at £15.00 for standard items, however we may have to charge extra for bulk or heavy items. You will be informed of any additional delivery costs before goods are dispatched to you.

Guarantees

All products are covered by a full manufacturers warranty for a minimum of one year.

There may be products that have three years warranty, in all cases if you wish to extend or upgrade then please talk to us. IBM offers a ServicePac for Hardware Maintenance to cover on site maintenance with a typical response time of four hours.

Returns or Refunds

If you wish to return goods ordered then you will require an RMA number by e-mailing customerservices@cheritononline.co.uk with details on why you wish to return goods, it may be because you have ordered incorrectly or the product may be faulty.

Your right to cancel goods ordered

Please notify us as soon as possible before the goods are dispatched you will be liable for a delivery/collection charge if the goods have shipped.
